Twitch streamer quqco has been banned on Twitch for using fake breasts prop on stream.
Quqco, a popular Twitch streamer, was suspended from the platform, claiming she “deserved it” for utilising a fake breasts prop as a gimmick.
Twitch has rigorous guidelines in place regarding sexually explicit content but will analyze the context of any individual occurrence to determine what action, if any, is taken.
Typically, these bans are issued for flagrantly violating the rules with explicit content, or for unintentional slip-ups that a panicked streamer strives to correct immediately.
However, in Quqco’s case, it was a simple prop that put her in hot water with the platform.
With over 100,000 Twitch followers, quqco skyrocketed in popularity in early 2022, averaging 2,500 concurrent viewers in April.
Although she has streamed a number of games, she has spent most of her time in the Just Chatting section. On January 10, she obtained a rubber chest body suit.
Unfortunately for quqco, it appears that this prop violated Twitch’s community guidelines. However, it is possible that it was not just the prop in isolation that led to the ban, but also her actions on the stream.
Why is quqco banned on Twitch?
Quqco confirmed her three-day suspension from the site by posting a video in which she draws attention to her new, although false, chest, making a suspension all the more plausible.
This is because, while Twitch’s guidelines do not explicitly restrict cleavage, they do state that “making explicit gestures towards breasts, buttocks, or genitals” is prohibited.
Some commenters were astonished that this incident resulted in a ban, citing cases of more clear infractions by other streams that went unpunished.
The suspension will only last three days, after which the channel will be restored.
