Jordan Brand’s hybrid designs have received mixed reviews in the past, but the brand may have finally found success with the release of the Jordan MVP 678.
This new offering combines modern design with elements from three of the silhouettes worn by Michael Jordan during the Chicago Bulls’ first three-peat.
The latest version of this shoe is now available in some of the brand’s most iconic colorways. After showcasing a couple of neutral outfits for women, the new Jordan MVP 678 features a dark black color that covers almost the entire upper area, constructed from a supple clad-nubuck material.
The mid-80s tint, which is synonymous with that era of Jordan’s career, injects a titular flair into the dark ensemble, with accents taken from the Air Jordan 6’s midsole further emphasizing the design.
The nylon liner, medial #23, and the heel’s multi-color overlay are also illuminated by this color scheme. Information about the release date of this new shoe is not yet available, but official imagery of the “University Blue” Jordan MVP 678 is currently available.
Among the new silhouettes coming soon from the Jumpman banner is the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder,” which will be released on May 13th.
